Switzerland A Wanderer's Journal Wall Art

In 2019 I took a trip to Switzerland to attend a friend's wedding. I spent about a week there. I spent most of my time in the city of Winterthur. My friend was living in Seuzach, a small town nestled just to the north. I traveled alone, and so my time was not influenced by the desires of a companion. I had taken a room with a local woman and had decided that I would do my best to spend my days without any agenda. I would try, in essence, to imagine what it would be like to live there. I shopped at the local grocery store and cooked most of my meals at my new, temporary home. I awoke each morning, packed my backpack for the day, and set off in no particular direction. It was to be an exercise in the practice of the derivé, to wander like a flaneur, camera in hand, and allow myself to be guided solely by my interest and incident.
