Product Details

Our spiral notebooks are 6" x 8" in size and include 120 pages which are lined on both sides. The artwork is printed on the front cover which is made of thick paper stock, and the back cover is medium gray in color. The inside of the back cover includes a pocket for storing extra paper and pens.

Artist's Description

In between Princeton University's Department of Mathematics and Physics buildings stands a large metal sculpture by American artist Alexander Calder. Something that I particularly enjoy about this image is how the deep shadows present a sense of both structure, of absolute-ness, but also of movement. There is a drama in both that movement as well as the implied strength. To me, this image visually references German Expressionism.

After growing up in a somewhat rural area I decided a change of scenery was in order, so I moved to New York City where I studied photography. My professional career didn't begin until after college, where I worked photographing architecture and construction sites as well as the occasional portrait. I've always been interested in telling stories whether it's the story of a place, a person or simply describing a moment.
