Description
I spent hours wandering the old, meandering streets, lanes, and alleyways of Lucerne. As long as you keep away from the tourist section, and you'll know if you're there, Lucerne is a quiet city. The only noticeable sound I can remember was this low rumbling noise. I couldn't figure out if the sounds were caused by airplanes passing by overhead, or thunderstorms happening up in the mountains. The sound seemed to be coming from far off in the distance, always in the direction of the mountains. I remember thinking to myself, "Shea, my dog, could never live here. With her fear of thunderstorms, she would never be able to enjoy walking around town."
