A young woman gazes through a large mirror on a cobblestone street in one of the many alleys of Winterthur. Maybe the display caught her eye, or perhaps she's examining how she looks in the window's reflection. The light cast from the window's surface frame both her figure and her shadow. Beyond the frame, the city is busy with the pleasant chaos of the Saturday open-air market.

After growing up in a somewhat rural area I decided a change of scenery was in order, so I moved to New York City where I studied photography. My professional career didn't begin until after college, where I worked photographing architecture and construction sites as well as the occasional portrait. I've always been interested in telling stories whether it's the story of a place, a person or simply describing a moment.
