Your image gets printed directly onto a sheet of 1/16" thick aluminum. The aluminum sheet is offset from the wall by a 3/4" thick wooden frame which is attached to the back. I woke up and my attention immediately shifted towards the Begonia sitting on my windowsill. I kept thinking of it while walking my dog, Shea, and after returning to my apartment I set up the studio. I remember this particular plant took months to form even a single new leaf from the cutting I brought back from my mother’s house.

My professional career didn't begin until after college, where I worked photographing architecture and construction sites as well as the occasional portrait.
